February may be short, but it certainly gave us plenty to smile about here at Aurora Dental. As well as providing everyone with an opportunity to celebrate their valentines, the year’s shortest month was also very much about self love and self care.

Read on to learn more about what made our February so wonderful and to discover what we have in store for March!

Just like something out of a rom-com, Corsham dental nurse Ashleigh enjoyed the perfect proposal in Paris this month. Her fiancé pulled out all the stops by getting down on one knee in front of the Eiffel Tower and popping the question. How romantic!

The entire Aurora team were delighted to hear the news and we would like to take this chance to wish the would-be newlyweds all the best ahead of their big day!

2022’s most romantic day may now be behind us, but we’d still like to remind you of the importance of looking after your teeth all year round. Although it doesn’t hurt to indulge in sugary snacks every now and then, doing this on a regular basis can lead to tooth decaygum disease.

As well as keeping sugar to a minimum, you can maintain your oral health by brushing and flossing every day, as well as attending routine dental appointments whenever you need to. Our clinics are just a call away!

Practising good oral hygiene is something that should be done from an early age. But we know it’s not always that easy to get your children to look after their teeth as well as they should!

We are pleased that oral health education is included in the early years foundation stage framework and who better than our hygienist Louise and nurse Emma from our Corsham clinic, who attend Snapdragons Nursery in Atworth this month to teach the children all about tooth brushing and healthy eating!

Nearly a quarter of 5 year olds in England have tooth decay, and tooth extraction is the most common procedure for children under 6 in hospital. At Aurora we are committed to help educate children and their parents within our local community.

And it’s fair to say that we were met with an enthusiastic response – just look at that smile!

Invisalign® Open Week takes place at Aurora Dental during the 7th-11th March. As spring is a time for new beginnings, this is the perfect opportunity for you to discover more about what invisible aligners can do for your smile.

Invisalign® is a revolutionary teeth straightening system that is used to gently reposition your teeth over the course of 9-18 months. Its invisible aligners are easy to remove, clean and maintain, as well as being suitable for patients who have gap teeth, open bites and specific overbite, underbite or crossbite issues.

Book in for a FREE consultation (usually £50) during Invisalign® Open Week to discuss the treatment process in more detail. As an added bonus, you will also receive a FREE 3D simulation scan of your teeth to see what your smile could look like at the end of treatment!

If you book in for full Invisalign® treatment during Invisalign® Open Week , you will receive the following:

£500 OFF Invisalign® Treatment

FREE Teeth Whitening

FREE Retainers

That’s a total saving of £1350!

Check out these fantastic before and after pictures of a patient who attended our Corsham clinic for Invisalign® treatment courtesy of our wonderful dentist, Mary-Jane Thompson!

Although Covid restrictions are officially lifted and things are looking brighter. Our standard operating procedures still remain in place for healthcare settings and dental clinics.

We appreciate all patients continuing to follow current restrictions during their visit and we look forward to seeing you all again soon.
