Did you manage to get everything on your list? Christmas Day, and December as a whole, proved to be truly magical for everyone at Aurora, and we hope you had the most wonderful time too.

Join us as we take a look back at everything that made this month so memorable. But hurry – the new year is just around the corner!

Bright lights and community spirit are two of our favourite things about Christmas. The annual light switch-on at Corsham was back for 2021!

The smell of mulled wine and children singing Christmas carols filled the air. The Corsham team held a stall in the high street for the Christmas market. The team were also treated to live music, fairground rides and the wonders of an awe-inspiring snow machine. Delightful! It was so lovely to see people smiling and enjoying the festivities.

You may remember reading in our October newsletter about little Ottie, a special little girl who was diagnosed with neuroblastoma just weeks before her 4th birthday. The money that the team raised by completing the Corsham 10K back in September made her family’s Christmas that extra bit special.

It was always our intention to use the money raised to send Ottie on a trip to Longleat Safari Park and she has long had a wish to visit her favourite animals, the monkeys. We are so glad that these funds meant that Ottie and her family had a wonderful time with the monkeys (and all the other animals) and could enjoy a very special visit on the train to see Father Christmas!

It’s because of your generous donations that Ottie and her family have the chance to make so many treasured memories – so thank you for all your donations.

Christmas may be synonymous with presents and seeing family, but spare a thought for those less fortunate this festive season. Our teams have been going the extra mile by collecting and donating at the local Churches Foodbank, ensuring that those in need have access to the essentials at this crucial time of year.

Well done, everyone – your selflessness is a joy to behold!

Corsham Churches Foodbank is supported by all churches in the area and is run entirely by volunteers. You can become a volunteer by visiting their website or calling 07788 115095 today.

Invisalign® Open Week, which was held from the 6th-10th December, proved to be a roaring success! We were overwhelmed by the number of people who booked in for consultations to see what this amazing teeth straightening treatment could do for both their confidence and their smile.

It was lovely to see so many of you in attendance, and we hope that we can help you perfect that winning smile in 2022!

Have you spotted some imperfections when posing for those Christmas party snapsComposite Bonding treatments, which are performed with the utmost care by Dr Carl Lazzari, are minor procedures designed to eliminate small dental issues such as discolouration, chips or gaps.

Check out the stunning before and after picture of Carl’s brilliant work, and book your own appointment for the new year here.

This month, we focused on everything good and great about the festive season, including spending time with our nearest and dearest, exchanging gifts and enjoying delicious food. Is there anything more special than that?

That’s all from us for this year. The only thing left to do is wish you a very Merry Christmas and a happy and healthy new year. We can’t wait to welcome you to the clinics in 2022.
