This September marks a significant milestone in our journey, 10 years of Aurora Dental & Implant Clinics! What began as a small practice in Corsham has grown into a busy network of four clinics, all thanks to our loyal patients and dedicated team.
Today, we take a moment to appreciate our journey, celebrate our achievements, and extend our thanks to everyone who has contributed to our success.
From Humble Beginnings
Our journey began in September 2014 when we opened our doors as The Corsham Dental Practice. Initially, we were a small family business led by husband-and-wife dentists Carl and Lesley Lazzari, supported by a tiny team of only five. As we grew, we decided to rename ourselves Aurora Dental & Implant Clinics. The name “Aurora” was originally on Carl and Lesley’s baby name list for their potential second daughter, but after having three boys, they decided to name their clinics Aurora instead—making it their fifth ‘baby’ 🙂
A Symbol of Home: The Peacock Feather
Curious about the peacock feather in our logo? It’s a tribute to our roots in Corsham, where our very first clinic was established. Corsham is renowned for its charming wild peacocks that roam freely, gracing our town with their beauty.
Expanding Our Services and Expertise
Over the years, we expanded to four locations: Corsham, Chippenham, Swindon and Devizes. Our small team of seven has grown into a robust team of over 50 professionals, including dentists, hygienists, therapists, dental nurses, treatment coordinators, clinic managers, receptionists, patient support, and marketing team. Together, our dedicated team works seamlessly to deliver the high standards of care we pride ourselves on.
We began as general dental practices, offering routine dental services to help patients maintain their oral health. As the years passed, we listened to our patients’ needs and expanded our expertise to become leaders in cosmetic and restorative dentistry, with a special focus on Implant Dentistry led by Implantologist and co-founder Dr. Carl Lazzari.
Today, we are proud to offer a full range of services, from Invisalign® and Dental Implants to Composite Bonding, Teeth Whitening, Airflow Polishing and Facial Aesthetics.
Our team has worked hard to stay at the forefront of dental innovation, and we’re proud to be one of the top providers of Dental Implants in the area.
